The Town of West Seneca Police Records Department provides a number of services to the public. Many of these services are routine in nature and individuals may not know how/where to start the process. Below you will find an overview of the information available from our department and how to go about accessing it.
Police Reports
Victims of an offense may obtain a copy of the police report filed. Please call the records department to see what you may be entitled to.
Accident Reports
Individuals that have been involved in an automobile accident can receive a copy of the accident report by coming to the station in person with proper identification.
Arrest Record Checks
Persons that have been arrested by West Seneca Police in the Town of West Seneca can apply in person for their arrest record, with photo identification, at the records department.
Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Requests
All requests for West Seneca Police Department reports and documents covered under Article 6 of the New York State Public Officers Law should be directed to the police records department. This can be done in person at the records department office, via fax at 716-675-3236 or via foils@westsenecapolice.org.
Statistics
Record keeping and statistics are an important function within a police department. As such the records department is responsible for submitting all state and federal crime reports. The records department is open to the public Monday – Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm.
